Eligibility Requirements:
You must be a mother of a Jewish school age child living at home under the age of 18.
You are not strictly religiously observant. This trip is designed for people who are not highly engaged in the Jewish community or Jewish ritual observance.
Participants must be physically and emotionally healthy. The experience in Israel has a lot packed in to each day with plenty of walking and the experience can bring up a lot of emotions, all of which will affect your energy level.
You must be able to commit to 4 pre- trip meetings from July 2026, spend 10 days in Israel (commencing around 18 October 2026), attend monthly learning sessions post the Israel trip for a period of 12 months, participate in group fundraising, chesed and social initiatives.
Costs: While the program is heavily subsidised - covering shared accommodation, tours, speakers, and much of the food, participants will need to cover the following additional expenses for the year long journey: Trip Expenses:
Return airfare: Is the responsibility of the participant. The group will meet up in Israel.
Momentum participation fee: $725USD, paid directly to Momentum. (Note: $365USD of this amount is a fully refundable deposit, offered back to participants at the end of the Israel trip).
Personal spending money: For shopping, some meals (approximately 3 dinners and 3 lunches not covered), incidental expenses, as well as pre- and post-trip accommodation, transport, tours and entertainment.

Travel and health insurance - mandatory.
Israel Travel Visa - From 1 January 2025, all foreign nationals must have either an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA-IL) or a visa before arriving in Israel. Check your eligibility here.
OrahEducation Levy:
OrahSydney education levy: Approx $2,000 AUD, includes the year of learning and all costs associated with the additional 2 day Sydney program in Israel.
