Through professional care, delivered in a humane and dignified manner, we reintegrate clients back into the community with purpose and in a safe environment – improving their future and breaking the cycle of homelessness and future personal crisis.
Orah works closely with Jewish House by providing household items and clothing for those in need as well as fundraising. In the past Orah has furnished households of those who have had to start again from nothing. In addition, Orah is fundraising for a van to assist with transport of clients to appointments and accommodation as well as delivery of furniture and large items. Fay Sussman & the Klezmer Divas hosted a fundraising concert for support for the Jewish House van.
The artists involved were Fay Sussman, Ilan Kidron, Leonie Cohen, Eddie Bronson, Anatoli Torjinski and John Maddox!! It was a huge success, raising close to $20,000.
