In 2020, Orah Sydney is pleased to announce the Momentum Unlimited Israel experience will take place over the period 19th to 27th October 2020. If you would like to learn more about what is involved then we would love you to join us for an information evening in November.

Identify as Jewish &/or be bringing up your children as Jews
Live in Sydney
Have children under the age of 18 living at home.
Not be Shommeret Mitzvoth. For our purposes, this means not keeping Shabbat - i.e. you are willing to drive on Shabbat.
If you wish to participate in the trip but do not fulfil the above criteria please send us an email to [email protected] including your name, contact details and reason for wishing to participate. We will be sure to keep you in the loop should new programmes become available or at times it is may be possible for us to take women outside of the target demographic.
The purpose of the trip is to (re)connect Jewish women to their religion, their heritage and their culture and is based on the premise that if “you educate a woman, you educate a generation". It is a personalised experience, where each woman will grow in their own way, at their own pace, and return to their family and their community enthused and inspired.
Jewish women from all around the world meet and experience Israel together during an 8 day trip. There is an expectation that for a year after their return, the women will stay engaged with their local group, for us is Orah Sydney, attending learning sessions, participating in Chesed (volunteering) activities, and fundraising for future trips.
The trip is partially subsidised but participants will be expected to pay for their flights and other costs associated with participation in the program.
To qualify for participation in this extraordinary experience candidates for the program must not be shomrei mitzvot, and must have children under the age of 18. There are only a limited number of spots available for each trip and we always have more demand than we are able to accommodate.
This trip to Israel will take place from 19th to 27th October 2020.
